Nusratullo Makhsum Lutfulloev (1881-1938) - statesman and party leader. From 1924 to 1926 he was the chairman of the Revolutionary Committee of the Tajik SSR, and from 1926 to 1933 he was the chairman of the Central Executive Committee of the Tajik SSR. He was unjustly executed. In 2006 he was awarded the title of Hero of Tajikistan.
