The agreement on completion of the second phase of the “Istiqlol tunnel” project in the Republic of Tajikistan was signed between the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Tajikistan and the company “Farob” of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

    The signing ceremony was held on January 20 in Dushanbe, which was attended by officials of the Ministry of Transport, the company "Farob" and other guests.

   First, the Minister of Transport Azim Ibrohim spoke about the long-term and mutually beneficial cooperation between Tajikistan and Iran and expressed confidence that the implementation of the project and the timely and quality completion of work will be a logical continuation of this mutually beneficial cooperation.

    During the ceremony, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Tajikistan Mohammad Taqi Sabiri, Deputy Chairman of the Company "Expansion of Water Resources and Energy of Iran" Behrouz Murodi, Chairman of "Farob" Ali Vakili spoke about cooperation between friendly and brotherly countries, at the end the Minister of transport Azim Ibrohim and the chairman of “Farob” company Ali Vakili signed the Agreement.
