Sadriddin Aini (1878-1954) - writer, scientist and founder of modern Tajik literature. First President of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tajikistan. Author of the works "History of Bukhara Emirs-Mangits", "History of the Intellectual Revolution in Bukhara", "Sample of Tajik Literature", "Dohunda", "Slaves", "Memoirs" and others, which were published in 29 foreign languages. In 1997 he was awarded the title of Hero of Tajikistan.
