Annotation. One of the main directions of reforming the transport and logistics complex of the Republic of Tajikistan is the development of conceptual provisions and its development.

The effect of the development of the transport and logistics system of the Republic of Tajikistan is shown in Figure 1.

Mathematical models of inventory management allow you to find the optimal level of stocks of a particular product, reduce the overall cost of purchasing, placing and delivering orders, storing goods, as well as losses from its shortage. The Wilson model is the simplest SD model and describes the situation of purchasing goods from an external supplier, which is characterized by certain conditions:

Формула Уилсона (1)

Here Qw is the optimal order quantity in the Wilson model. The role of logistics in ensuring competitiveness is confirmed by comparing the global competitiveness index and the logistics performance index.
